3. PSLs to go around group by group to time how long each groups takes to accomplish the task. 4. PSLs to ask each group after timing them if that was the best strategy and ask if they want to retry. 5. Then, give them more time to strategise. 102'12 Classic used during a session on Class Spirit. during the Here's what they said: "This activity allowed the students to think of the traits they each valued the most, hence serving as an effective tool to bring across the topic to the students. Instead of giving the year 1s a boring lecture on our school rules, Classic 102'12 created a funny scenario to introduce the rules to their class! They had one PSL enter the class and breaking all the rules! (untidy attire, hair, using mobile phone, eating in class ect). Then, they got the Year 1s to point out what was unacceptable, and proceeded to explain the rational for the various rules.
Here's what they had to say: "It's better than a normal briefing because that's quite boring hehe if you know what i mean! this is more interesting (and quite funny too HAHA) so the class will probably be more engaged and remember the rules :) It was quite successful in raising the energy level of the class!" |
